Heitmann is expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks. He has been a
starter on San Francisco's offensive line since his rookie season of 2002.

before moving to center for the last six games in 2005. He had missed just two
games since, as a broken leg sidelined him for the final two weeks of the 2006
campaign.
